Collaboration is at the heart of Alex’s work, whether that is with directors, choreographers or great musicians – he has been nominated for a Tony award for sound design on the Broadway production of Martin McDonagh’s The Cripple of Inishmaan, won a Music + Sound award for the documentary and a Southbank Award for his ballet of 1984 at Sadlers Wells. He is working on his debut album, his latest score is for Harry Wootliff's new film True Things and he is currently working on the biopic of Beatles manager Brian Epstein, The Midas Man.
